Homegrown handset maker Spice Retail Ltd on Tuesday launched a new smartwatch with dual SIM support at a price of Rs.3,999.
To be launched exclusively with HomeShop18 from 11 July, the ‘Smart Pulse M 9010´ features a 4-cm touch-screen that allows users to make and receive calls (using the Bluetooth headset provided free with the watch), read and write SMS and browse web.
It also has audio and video player, VGA camera, expandable memory up to 8GB, FM radio and 420 mAh battery.
The smartwatch can also be paired via Bluetooth with any other Android smartphone to work as secondary device for the smartphone.
“The Smart Pulse is innovative for its dual sim functionality, utilitarian for its Bluetooth pairability and fashionable for the changeable wrist bands that come with it, a unique feature for this category,” Spice CEO devices T M Ramakrishnan said.
“Being the first, among domestic players, in the Indian market to launch a sim-enabled wearable device, Spice continues to stimulate demand in the market through its product innovations,” he added.
